A favorite dessert: dark chocolate swirled around fresh strawberries in an irresistible and beautiful treat Chocolate covered strawberries are one of our go-to treats! They are quick and easy to make, as well as being nutritious! Did you know that dark chocolate (70-85% cocoa or more) is rich in minerals iron, magnesium, copper, and manganese? Cocoa powder is also an excellent source of polyphenols– powerful antioxidants that play a role in heart disease and cancer prevention! Let’s not forget the nutritious value of a strawberry. Packed with Vitamin C, folate, and fiber, berries are one of the healthiest fruits you can eat. Share some of these beautiful little desserts with someone you love today!

Ingredients
- 1 carton fresh strawberries
- 2.5 cups dark chocolate chips (70-85% cocoa)
- 1.5 TBS coconut oil
- Parchment paper
- Optional toppings: White chocolate drizzle, chopped nuts, coconut, etc
Directions
- Rinse the strawberries and pat dry.
- Microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a bowl in 20-second increments, stirring in between with a dry spoon, until completely melted. Make sure not to overcook or the chocolate will burn!
- Dip strawberries one at a time in the chocolate and place on parchment paper. If using optional toppings, sprinkle on strawberries while they are still wet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens. Share with someone you love.
